First, some important General Privacy Information:
- Whootie Owl's web site is proud to be fully in compliance with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
- The term "parent" includes legal guardian.
- Personal information, such as e-mail addresses,
mailing addresses, or other specific information, are never sold or given to third
parties ever.
- When you visit our web site and access information, you remain anonymous. We do not use cookies to track your surfing habilts.
- Activities involving the submission of e-mail addresses or
home addresses must be accompanied by a parental consental form if the child is under 13 years old. More on the special circumstances where this applies below.
Now, about illustrating Whootie Owl's Fairytales:
- All of the stories on Whootie Owl's web site are illustrated by kids! You can find out more about how to send pictures to illustrate Whootie Owl's fairytales by clicking here.
- We credit the young artists' work online by posting the child's first name, age, and home state within the child's illustration. Prior to April 2000, we posted (when we knew what it was) the home city of the child. Since April 2000 however, we post only the first name, age, and home state of the child. No other information is shown online.
- Youngsters who submit artwork to Whootie Owl's web site will never be solicited for anything. Their names and/or e-mail addresses will not be put on any sort of list for any sort of goods or services whatsoever.
- Because the artwork is transmitted in the mail, and because we receive the sender's mailing address, it is necessary, pursuant to the The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act for the parents of young artists who are under 13 years old to sign and send us the Whootie Owl's Parental Consent Form (Artwork), below.
- The full name, mailing adress, e-mail addresses and or any other personal information of young artists remain strictly confidential within Whootie Owl Productions, LLC.
- If Whootie Owl Productions, LLC, is approached by a book publisher, e-zine publisher, or any other kind of publisher who is interested in reprinting any of the artwork sent in by children, permission from that child's parent must be secured before any such reprinting can occur.

of the stories shown on Whootie Owl's web site.
I am aware that my child's first name, age, and home state may be shown
online. I am also aware that any other information about my child, including
the full name, mailing address, e-mail address, or any other personal information,
will remain strictly confidential within Whootie Owl Productions, LLC.
No information will be given or sold to any third parties whatsoever without
first obtaining my written consent.
